We are seeking compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available across our Residential and Day Program settings, encompassing 2nd shifts, overnight shifts, and flexible weekend schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support and care to individuals, assisting with daily living tasks such as hygiene, medication administration, and meal preparation.
- Support and encourage individuals to engage in community-based activities, fostering increased independence and social interactions.
- Monitor and address potential medical or behavioral needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all activities and behaviors as per regulatory requirements.
- Engage with families and care teams to promote and implement individual service plans.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Possess a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Willingness to undergo and pass mandatory training programs including Medication Administration, CPR/FA, Crisis Training, and more.
- Successful completion of background screenings and clearances:
- Criminal History; fingerprinting
- Child Abuse Record Information (CARI) checks
- Drug Testing
- Central Registry
- Exclusion Screening
- Physical/ TB Screening
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and mobility support.
- Commitment to the health and safety protocols, including COVID-19 vaccination as per state guidelines.
